Campus Tour + Pizza

DESCRIPTION:

We’ll start our afternoon by touring our campus from about 2:00 - 4:00 PM. We have 14 demonstration cottages, plus a network of natural walls, so there is a lot to see; all of the projects are at different stages of construction, so you’ll gain an understanding of how the walls look underneath, and what they can look like at the finished stage. There are examples of many different natural wall systems (including cob and straw bale), various foundation styles, and different natural plasters + paints. There will be time for open Q+A throughout the tour.

We’ll transition to making pizzas in our cob oven starting at about 4:30. When the oven is hot, the pizzas can bake in under 3 minutes! There will plenty of pizza for everyone to share, and lots of different toppings available (and options for anyone who is gluten-free).
