DESCRIPTION:
In this workshop you will learn what cob is, how to mix it, and how to use it to create a natural wall. We’ll also tour our campus to see and discuss our demonstration cottages, cob oven, and cob/strawbale garden walls. This is a great course for anyone who is interested in cob, but unsure of whether you want to take a more intensive course.
We’ll be mixing with our feet, and applying with our hands - dress to get muddy!

This workshop is held on-site at the Mud Dauber campus, on our small homestead in Snow Camp, NC.
We are 10 min away from Saxapahaw, 20 minutes from Siler City & Pittsboro, 30 minutes from Carrboro/Chapel Hill, and one hour from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU).
